My name is Greg Neatrour from Virginia Beach, VA and I am a second year Sports Management major with minors in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship. I aspire to work for Under Armour in their marketing or sales departments. You may be wondering why I came to UF from Virginia. I just really wanted to branch out and do something completely different from the rest of my peers.
I am adventurous and a risk-taker. I love to be outdoors and sports. My favorite pastimes include surfing, wake boarding, playing pickup sports, snowboarding, etc. In high school I played tennis and swam and finished second in the State Championships my Senior year. I am a bit of a beach bum, but not in the lazy way.
I come from a medical family. My dad is an Ophthalmologist and my mom is a Pharmacist. I have two sisters; one is a second year Ophthalmology resident at the Medical University of South Carolina and my other sister is a fourth year studying education with hopes of becoming a teacher one day. I have been on several medical mission trips with my family. We have been to the Philippines, Ghana, Fiji, and China performing cataract surgeries, visual acuity tests, and diabetes screening tests.
